Food for Thought: What You Think You Become

Food for thought for a Thursday afternoon: I'm on day 8 of the 21-day meditation series with Deepak Chopra and Oprah. The series revolves around the power of belief, and posits that we become what we believe. (A scary thought at times, if you could hear some of my inner chatter...but powerful.) I am learning how to train/retrain my brain, exposing damaging inner thoughts and beliefs, bringing them to light and by doing so, diminishing their power, as I reframe them in a healthier, more positive light.

This is not new, or ground-breaking, of course. Buddha said as much hundreds of years ago. "What you think you become. What you feel you attract. What you imagine, you create." But I wanted to share this with you. Check out if you're interested in learning more.
